OUR Statement of Faith

 

Now Faith Haitian Outreach International Ministries Church of God Christ is Victory hold the Holy Scriptures as contained in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible to be our rule of Faith and Practice.  Our church believes that governments are God given institutions for the benefit of mankind.  We admonish and exhort our members to honor magistrates and civil authorities, and to obey civil law, the following Statement of Faith is the encapsulation of our Biblical position.

Now Faith Haitian Outreach International Ministries Church of God Christ is Victory Believe:

The Bible to be inspired and the only infallible written Word of God (2 Peter 1:19-21).

That there is one God, eternally existent and manifested in three personifications:1. God the Father, 2. God the Son, 3. God the Holy Ghost (1John 5:7).

In the blessed hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ Jesus, at His return (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).

That the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ our Lord (St. John 3:16).

That regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation (Acts 19:2).

That the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides for the propitiation for our transgressions and iniquities.It also provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer (Isaiah 53:5).

That the Baptism with the Holy Ghost is given to believers who ask for it (St Luke 11:13).

In the supernatural ministry of the Holy Ghost, who bestows spiritual gifts to be born again believers (1 Corinthians 12:4).

In the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.Amen (1Corinthians 6:9-11).
